Another Boots Haul!!

Oh dear, I have just been back from Boots with more goodies!!! So addictive! Anyway onto what I bought.....

I am loving the Revlon mirror, being short sighted I really needed a mirror that magnified and this has 3x and also you touch the base for 3 different light settings.  This was on clearance at £26.80 and I used my Boots points...so thank you Boots!

Bourjois were doing 2 polishes at £8, normally £5.99 each.

I finally caved in and decided to go and buy the lip butter, Berry Smoothie.  Not really a lover of lipsticks but loving how this goes on and is very soft and smooth, the colour wise is not too strong so definitely me.  It was quite hard to choose the colour as the testers at Boots were all over the place, and was in a bad state, bad enough it was over the counter! Anyway am glad I went with my instinct on this one.

Final thing that I got were some Karen Millen Sunglasses, the sun might be gone today but I'm sure we will get a few more days of sun before we head into winter.  These were originally £50 but were half price....oh I love a bargain!

Today's Successful Haul

Today wasn't meant to be a shopping haul, but it ended up being just that!!!  I guess I was born to shop!

I got this whole set of pin badges...each day of the Olympic Games, one badge was released and I love the fact that it can be made into the shape of the Coca Cola Bottle!!

Thanks to Nivea, they gave me a bag of samples at Westfield.

This sparkly jumper is from M&S, £35.  Loving the colour, but felt weird this as it was 22 degrees outside at the time!!

Thanks to O2 Priority Moments and my hubby, I got 2 sets of haircare for free at Body Shop, costs £10 each!

Got these lovely EDTs and body washes from Victoria Secrets, each one costs between £9 and £11, I got all 5 for £25!

So didn't actually spent much but felt quite a successful day

Recent Boots Haul

Have been constantly in Boots buying stuff recently, can't help myself!

I came across Good Things on someone's blog and really wanted to try it because of the scents.  Boots have them at a third off at the moment so couldn't resist and I have to say definitely worth getting.  The 5 minute Face Mask really does leave you feeling refreshed.  Its a clay mask, and hardens in less than a minute, really nice scent, love, love, love!

Essie finally has arrived in the UK and these were my second purchase.  I seem to have an addition to blue/purple at the moment!

I found this Purse size Marc Jacobs, now it will sit nicely next to my phone case in my bag!

I also bought this Barry M Nail varnish (mind the uncleaned nails), loving the colour.

Wonder what my next buys will be....

My Benefit Haul

Glamour magazine gave a free Benefit gift a few months back and since then I have been hooked.

The first gift I got was the Porefessional.  I had heard many things about this and was pleased I got this over the Bad Gal mascara.  I have always been a fan of primers (will do a review on this later ) and my pores around my nose are large so was desperate to try this.  I love this product and then because I was so worried I would run out, I went to the Benefit shop in Covent Graden to pick up a full size tube.

One tube meant I came back with a bag!

I got sucked into buying another product because of the free gifts! But also I knew I needed to try a new blusher as I was finding my Mac one too pinky for me as I don't have much of a tan anymore, I'm going for a more whitening look! Must be age as when I was younger I always wanted a tan.  Anyway back to the blog post, I picked up Sugar Bomb which I am loving.

Few weeks later I decided to get another Sugar Bomb and I ended up picking up on some goodies! I couldn't resist. £10 for the gift set with the little samples to try and the essence water which I love to help me set my makeup has a lovely cucumber scent.

Then my final purchase came when they decided to do a flash sale of a product that wouldn't be out until September. I knew I had to buy it!

So lots of new things to try, watch out my reviews later.  Will start off with the battle of the primers as I have loved these for 5 years now...

My Recent REN Haul

Recently I noticed a lot of people buying REN products on Beauty Box Swaps and having seen what the offer was on 'Whats in My Handbag' - (link here if you want to sign up), I couldn't pass up the offer.

So the offer was a free gift their 'Six of the Best' with your first purchase.  Another bonus was that you get an extra 10% off and then also up to 4 free samples.

I chose to order the Muslim cloths which came to £5.40.

So this was my gift: -

Six of the Best Kit (RRP £20) contains:
Mayblossom T-Zone Control Cleansing Gel (25ml) A balancing, antibacterial facial cleansing gel.
Jojoba Microbead Purifying Facial Polish (25ml) A gently exfoliating facial polish.
Omega 3 Overnight Repair Serum (10ml) A night serum that replenishes skin lipids.
Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask (15ml) A potent exfoliating mask formulated to renew the complexion.
Frankincense Revitalising Night Cream (15ml) A night cream formulated to hydrate, recharge and revitalise the skin overnight.
Active 7 Radiant Eye Gel (3ml) A light and cooling gel.

And these were my 4 small samples....

The offer is on till the 1st August and I would highly recommend the Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask which is usually £30 but you can try it in the 'Six of the Best'.  It definitely gives you an instant glow and helps to lighten areas.  Can't wait to use it again

Latest In Beauty - Skincare Stars Box

One of the latest beauty boxes I bought was from Latest In Beauty.  The strap line for Latest In Beauty is Try Before You Buy.  So you can either buy a few small samples depending what they have on their website, or you can create a small box yourself selecting three samples or you can buy one of their themed boxes.

One thing I like about Latest In Beauty is that you get to see the box before you buy it, which is different from the other boxes I have bought, such as Glossybox, She Said Beauty etc.

Being a big fan of skincare, I was really excited when I saw this box and had to buy it.  When I saw it they had sold out and I was awaiting to hear back from them as I was on a reserve list.  Luckily when I saw the message they sent me, I managed to get one as the message said there was only one left!

I think this was £14.95 which included posting.  Really excited about this and have already started to use the Cleansing Water and the Melvita.   The Cleansing Water is very good with removing tough make up and has definitely left me refreshed.  As for the Melvita, it suggests to use it in the morning and smells very nice.

Will let you know how I get on with the other bits later.

The next box is now available to view...the picture below has been taken from their Facebook page.

Contents: -
Contents are: Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo, Mavala Mini Nail Polish in Liberty, Weleda Firming Night Cream, Weleda Firming Serum, Balance Me Radiance Face Mask, Melvita Fresh Micellar Water and Love Your Skin Exfoliating Wash.

I am tempted with this one, but with my recent Hong Kong haul having arrived only last week, I can't justify myself getting any more for now.  If you do buy this let me know how you get on.

xoxo

My Packages Arrived!

Due to my luggage restrictions of the amount I could bring back home after my Hong Kong trip, I had to send parcels back and finally they arrived last week!

Beauty Galore!  Looks like I'm set up for the rest of the year now!

BB Creams and yes Hello Kitty wet wipes!

I love these Facemasks, they do so many that it took me a while to decide which ones to buy.  Approx £5 for a box of £10.

I had to get these Hello Kitty Face Masks and the Panda eye masks....so kawaii!

Face mask city!!!

OTTD

I thought I would do something different today and show my outfit of the day.  Not done one of these and I'm so behind in all my posts after my holiday.  I decided to do this as everything I wore today was from Hong Kong, so at least I get to show you some of the things I bought!

As you can see from my iphone screen shot London as had really good weather for the last two days and today was no different.  So I wanted something light and summery.  I opted for a peach blouse and a pair of green shorts, two colours that I am loving at the moment.  You will see in a post later that most of the stuff I bought were these two colours!

As you can see the blouse was quite long at the front, but shorter at the back, so that you can see the shorts.

The shorts were just under £3 and the blouse was £5 in hong kong, cheap and cheerful fast fashion!  One of the reasons why I love Hong Kong so much!

My Beauty Shopping Haul in Hong Kong

Firstly this is not half of what I got!  I've always been a fan of the toiletries in Hong Kong, as some come from Korea and are very well suited for oriental skin especially if you want to have whiter skin.  (I use to love the sun, but its damaged my skin over the years so much prefer to be whiter.)  I bought so much that I have had to send it back, so in 2 months time, I will have another post on my bigger beauty shopping haul.

I shopped in Mannings, Sasa, Missha, Skinfood and Watsons.

Some of my favourites include: -

I love Skinfood.  Can't wait to try the White Grape Makeup Base.

Loving all beauty accessories in Hong Kong,  Hello Kitty wipes, blackhead remover, Pore Cleansing Brush and then ways to hold back the hair which aren't even clips!

xoxo

I'm back!!

Yes I've been a bit quiet as I've been away and only came back last week.  I had a lovely two week holiday with my hubby in Hong Kong and Taiwan.  As you can imagine I have tons of pictures and also lots of shopping to share with you.

I will be back with more posts shortly.....

Hello Cavities

I came across Hello Cavities a few weeks ago and I immediately fell in love with their products

Sharon is so talented and has created Planet Helca which is a world of costumes, candy and cavities.  One of her products are t-shirts which can be found at her Etsy shop here.

Not normally a wearer of t-shirts I fell in love with Hello Cavities t-shirts straight away.  There are many inspired character ones, such as Little Mermaid, and minnie mouse.  For those that know me, I picked Hello Kitty although I do now wish I also got the little mermaid one as well!

Loving my t-shirt...thank you Hello Cavities!

London Shopping Mini Haul

Took a small trip to London yesterday and decided to buy a few things.

First stop was to 'The Big Egg Hunt' pop up shop.  Decided to get a few things from here as all the money goes to charity, so wanted to do my part.  I got a shopping bag, love some of the eggs on this bag, an i-spy book and an oyster card holder.

After seeing all the eggs in Covent Garden, we made our way down to Regent Street and Carnaby Street.

In Superdry, I got a hoodie for £49.99, decided to buy one as I kept on wearing my husbands and his is too big for me!

The last shop I bought from was on Carnaby Street, Monki.  This is a new shop that opened recently so was excited to go in a have a look.  Before I show you what I got, I thought I would show you the bag and receipt...so kawaii!

So I ended up buying things with the same colour theme!!

So the top on the left was £5 and one on the right was £12.  Perfect for summer

This purse was £10, thought it would make a nice new make-up bag.

I have to say the shop is amazing, decor is brilliant and I could definitely have bought more if I had more wardrobe space!
